Clark Is In Heaven

The timing of that last find (wicker coffins) seems a bit unfortunate. But I do want to be respectful since Clark died just yesterday.

It is so entirely weird to me that Clark is looking at the face of God right now. I am so glad for him that he is free from his body of death, and that he will never know sorrow or sin again. I praise the Lord today for his promise of eternal hope and rest. I am thankful that Clark has met and embraced the Savior of his soul.

So we are always confident, knowing that while we are at home in the body we are absent from the Lord. For we walk by faith, not by sight. We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord. Therefore we make it our aim, whether present or absent, to be well pleasing to Him. 2 Corinthians 5:1-9

  1. Wow. I am sorry for your loss. I will keep you and his loved ones in my prayers as you grieve. I am grateful that he is with Jesus now.

  2. I had a hard time figuring out why it didn’t make me really sad. I will sure miss him, and I am sad for Jan and “the girls”. I hope that the reason I am not really sad because I have faith that he is with the LORD now.
